Question About Maverick Ventures Thermometer ET-53
brand new and doesn't work...

et 53 followed instructions, placed battery in w/o plastic flim, replaced outer cover and tested in an orange then a piece of microwaved chicken cooked approimately (2 min) . Blank screen
