Light are out in the unit it is a maytag model number mf12568aeb. If I pull out the power cord and plug it back in the light comes back on. Then after 5 mins it turns off.

5 Unfortunately this is just a bad control board on the back of the refrigerator. There are 2 switches (one for each door on the refrigerator) that would need to both fail for the lights to not work inside, so if the lights are not working, then the culprit is going to be the main control board on the back of the refrigerator. If you pull the refrigerator forward, you'll see the control board about half way up the back.
