HOW DO I OVERCOME A CODE -704 THAT HAS SUDDENLY APPEARED WHEN SCANNING A NEGATIVE GLASS SLIDE. THE SCANNER HAS BEEN OPERATING PERFECTLY UNTIL THE TWO PLASTIC HINGE SUPPORTS WERE REPAIRED. POSITIVE SCANS ARE POSIBLE BUT NOT NEGATIVE peter.pearson@ntlworld.com
