how do you brown meat in the mistral pressure cook...

how do you brown meat in the mistral pressure cooker before putting the liquid into the bowl. There is no function mode to heat the cooking bowl to brown meat or onions etc before starting the pressure cooking function

0 I somehow sauted my onions before pressurising. When I tried the next night to brown meat I couldnt work it out :(
