the main unit is showing the wrong temperature. Ac...

the main unit is showing the wrong temperature. According to world clock site the current temperature is around 15 degrees C whereas the unit is showing 27 degrees C. What can be the problem ? Should I place the sensor outside ? I find the difference very hight.
