celcius to ferenhite conversion...

I can not convert it to F. It displays in C

6 I had the same problem. The owner's manual says nothing of switching from Fahrenheit to Celsius. However I removed the battery and replaced it. This switched it back to Fahrenheit. To remove battery: Use a coin (or screw driver) to rotate the back panel to the unlocked position. Then pry the back off and you should see the battery. Take the battery out and then put it back in (DON'T touch the battery with a METAL object). I was able to get the back off and the battery out with my finger nail.

5 okay, So heres how to do it: 1. Turn the thermometer off 2. Press the button to turn it on and keep it pressed (do not let go) 3. Wait until you see that the small F or C (whichever the current setting) will appear solid (not blinking) and the M underneath it will disappear. 4. Once the M underneath disappears and the F or C appear solid you can now let go of the button and press it again. This will switch the F to C or vice versa.

5 got it! turn it on holding the button down until the M dissappears as soon as it disappears press the button again very quickly /lightly and the F should switch to the C or vice versa!

3 Ii had it at C .When i took battery out and replaced it , it automatically went to F now i cant change it back to C.So that being said if you want F its as easy as removing the battery and putting it back in! If you want C stiff biccy's!

3 No info. in pkg. on switching from C to Fahrenheit. 1st advice found here about holding down button did not work. Removed battery with difficulty, then was never able to replace plastic battery cover tightly enough to make it work again. Shoddy product. Poor instructions.

0 Take off battery cover. Pull battery out, you'll hear a beep. Replace battery and hold it finger on it, press button on front, it should've changed from c to f and blinking. Turn it off, replace back and it should read in Fahrenheit at this time. If not retry, I did it twice and it reads Fahrenheit every time now. Hope it helps.

0 I found a solution-> 1. Press the button to turn of the thermometer. 2.  Press and hold the button until the display shows LO with either an F or C below it. 3. Press the button a second time BEFORE the C or F begins to blink. 4. The setting should change. 5. If the F or C begins to blink before the setting can be changed return to step 1.

**Important** My insight->once the F or C has begun to blink the setting cannot be changed. The Button MUST be pressed before it begins to blink for the setting to change. I hope this helps.
