I am trying to move this copier. How can I disassemble to make fit in an SUV?

5 You can't really do it. Let me rephrase that, you shouldn't do that. You won't be able to take it apart enough to fit in an SUV. The reason being that if you turn it on its side or back or any way but upright. You will ruin it. Toner will get everywhere inside the machine and just completely mess everything up. Now, if it's brand spanking new and never been used and never had toner cartridges put in it, then you can lay it on its back and it should fit that way. My guess is that you bought it used though. So you have to keep it in its upright working position. Your best option is to find a friend with a truck and stand it upright in the bed of the truck and tie that sucker down really well. Watch the bumps, put bubble wrap over the copier glass, and then a few plastic bags over the top of it to keep any foreign objects or dust out during transit.
