The iView 1800HD player worked fine for about six months. The player was primarily used for DVD's and the upconvert feature. Suddenly, after playing a DVD for about 30 minutes, the video freezes and none of the remote or local buttons function. Thus, the unit is lost. I unpowered the unit by unplugging the unit. I attempted to replay the DVD and the same feature occured. I tried another DVD with similar problems. However, same DVD in another player works fine. Thus, so much for a short-lived warrenty.
