Question About Singer 328k
helping my mom...

my grandmother passed on to my mother a sewing machine... singer 328k... and we don't know much about using a machine, so she wants to learn. the problem is when the machine is on and she pushes the peddle, it hums but nothing happens. any help would be appreciated.
