Question About State Industries Water Heater GS6 40 YBRT G
Pilot Light will not stay lit...

Pilot light will not stay lit. I set the thermostat to Pilot Light and the Gas control valve to Pilot. I press down on the gas control valve and press the ingniter. The pilot lights. I hold the gas control valve down for a couple of minutes and when I release it, the pilot immediately goes out.
