Question About Tasco Telescope 302048
Please help find the manual for this Tasco Telescope...

I bought it at a garage sale for my son it had no owners manual with it and everything is upside down.

5 Greetings, Congrats on the garage sale find =) I picked up the exact same scope at a thrift store. Image being upside down: check to see if you have a tube (about 6-9 inches long) with the label "1.5X Erecting Eyepiece" ... that will throw things back into human orientation ... (although your "finder scope" on the side will still have a reverse image, that scope is just to find the object - the main scope with the erecting eyepiece will have things the right way) Hey heres a couple links (including a helpful FAQ) that I came across in my own search for some info on this scope. http://www.opticsplanet.net/telescope-faq.html http://www.opticsplanet.com/msgboard/about817.html Happy star gazing =)

5 I have the original manual included with this Telescope. When I bought it, it came also with a couple of oculars, an erecting eyepiece, a Barlow tube, a diagonal mirror and its tripod. Please, contact me in my e-mail while I tranfer de manual to a pdf file

1 Thanks for sharing! Its good to have the manual in case I have any technical difficulties. Does anyone know where I could get an aluminum gun case? My husband has a standard one that came with his gun, but I want to get him something nicer.

0 Just got this telescope today for a fiver at a garage sale. Just starting to look for infomation. Ours says, 2.5 mm on what we believe is the eyepiece. Have to look at it during the daytime to really clean it up and focus on something in the distance. We did get the moon, but just a blob, blurry blob really. The product code is the same, and it looks like the picture posted above.

0 Many thanks. Having read it I think I really need the assembly instructions as I have no idea how the various eyepieces work and where they shoud go! Anyone help I wrote to the locally listed supplier and no response!
