Question About FoodSaver Food Saver vac 1075

I bought a food saver mini220 at a thrift store and when i tried to use it for the first time, it seals the bags, but it doesn't vacuum the air out from the bag. I looked at the vacuum part of the food saver and it looks like a part is missing. I need to see the whole image of this product so I can see what is missing from the vacuum system.
