Question About Vermont Castings Gas Heater dv25
I see a warning label on the back of my DV 25 verm...

I see a warning label on the back of my DV 25 vermnt cast gas stove, it says dont try to reinsert the pin in the safety switch, What does this mean? I see a cotter pin on a wire by the safety switch. It's half way in the hole. Should it be in or out?

5 It should be in. It is a safety switch though so if it popped out during use you are not supposed to reinsert it. You need to at that time have your product checked by a professional or return it. Think of it a a circuit breaker. If it keeps popping there is a reason and you could cause serious damage if you try to keep using it.
