Question About Viper Automobile Alarm 7345v

my alarm went off yesterday and it had a symbol that looked like a sledge hammer on the roof of a car. i can't find my manual. when i went out to look at the car, the only thing I could see was some bird poop on the hood. will something that slight set off the alarm. what does the sledge hammer mean?
