5 Hello, It sounds like your cable or digital signal is not transmitting correct to your TV. If you are using a cable wire: How old is it? Does it look like an old white or black cable with a difficult to use connector? Maybe you used it on your previous TV? These cables are only capable of transmitting analog signals, ever since 2010 analog signal are no longer transmitted so your TV is struggling to understand what it is being feed. You need to buy either a HDMI, SPDI/F Digital Coax , or Digital Optical cable. If your TV has a built in digital receiver, any TV made 2011 or later. You will need to format your TV’s cable channels. This usually needs to be done on newly bought TVs. If you tell me the make and model of your TV I can give you step by step instructions on how to do so. Let me know if it helped!
