0 if the mil light is on all the time faults have been detected by control module , and codes set if you tun the ky from off to on 3 times within 2 to 3 seconds and leave it on in the 3rd , it should blink out a set of codes ie 3 long blinks and 1 short blink - code 31 on so on the last code is 6 blink and 1 blink - 61 end of error codes if you go to www.walkermowers.com then click on T then select mt -mtl owners manual and download onwers manual or go to www.kohlerplus.com and download service manual for ch735 26 hp kohler it has efi service codes in it here is web site for download http://www.kohlerengines.com/onlinecatalog/pdf/sm_24_690_01.pdf retrieve codes and trace fault , might be a fuel pump
