Question About Waste King Garbage Disposal 1001
glass in the drain...

I broke the glass shelf to the refrigerator in the sink and now the disposal isn't working. I tried to put a wooden spatula in the drain to clear any glass but it doesn't do anything when I flip the switch on the wall.

4 If you tried running the disposer and it ran up against a piece that blocked movement there is usually an automatic stop switch that is thrown, similar to reset switches on electrical plugs intended for use near water. Try looking at the bottom of the disposal itself, is there a red button sticking down that wasn't there before? If so, clean out the disposal, then push the button and give it a try again.
