Question About Waste King Garbage Disposal GOURMET SS2600
PROBLEM...

The motor stopped turning and blew the internal circuit breaker. Breaker was reset but motor only hums. I suspect it is stuck for some reason. All other garburetors I am familiar with can be freed by inserting a tool in the bottom and turning it. No such place to put a tool. Any suggestions? Thanks, Gerry

4 in review of your problem,I did a little CSI,found the reset button,motor was humming,taped on the bottom dislodged the partical stopping the blades,it's working,thanks for the tip,hope it helps you...

0 having the same problem. wnen i turn it on its just humming sounds like some thing is stuck? I have tried tapping the bottom but it is not working. Is there a easy way to take it apart

0 Same problem. I followed the suggestions (reset button and tapping) and its working now.
