the dishwasher keeps about 2 inches of water in tub after cycles are finished. Then, going through cycles again means a lot of leaking under door. What can be done?

5 There's typically a drain float on the bottom of the dishwasher. Most of the time, something has mucked up the motion of the float. If you'll make sure the float can rise and fall freely, it should take care of the problem.
