BMC Enable/Disable (JPB1)
JPB1 is used to enable or disable the
BMC (Baseboard Management Control)
chip and the onboard IPMI connec-
tion. This jumper is used together with
the IPMI settings in the BIOS. See the
table on the right for jumper settings.
Supported on both the X9SPV-F and
X9SPV-LN4F.

BIOS Write Protect (JWP1)
The BIOS Write-Protect jumper (JWP1)
is used to protect the BIOS rmware from
accidentally being erased. Close pins
2-3 before reprogramming the rmware.
Otherwise, we recommend that it is en-
abled (pins 1-2) during normal operation.
